• 60TH ANNUAL MT. NEBO CHICKEN FRY
  The 60th Annual Mt. Nebo Chicken Fry is scheduled for September 27th, 2008 at Veterans Memorial Riverfront Park. Arts & Crafts, 10 K Run/Walk, Little Miss Pullet & Mr. Rooster Pageant, Horseshoe Tournament, Lovely Legs Contest, Chicken Calling Contest, Free Kids Games! Live Entertainment and much more! It is a fun filled day for the whole family featuring the award winning chicken dinner by Tyson Foods. Please mark your calendars and make your plans to attend!

• MISS MT. NEBO PAGEANT
  The Miss Mt. Nebo Pageant will be Saturday, September 20th, 2008at the Dardanelle Community Center at 7:00 p.m. The pageant is open to girls ages 5-21. Cash, prizes, bouquets, sashes & tiara’s to be awarded in five different age divisions. $35.00 entry fee. Download forms or call 229-3328.
  
  
• ANNUAL HOMECOMING TAILGATE PARTY
  The Dardanelle Chamber of Commerce will host a their annual Tailgate Party at the Home Coming game at Keenan Field on October 10th, 2008. Menu will be announced at a later date.
